We believe technology can help humans better understand one another...

… and we’re on a mission to help you do that. It all began in late 2013 when Nevyn, at the time iOS Lead Developer, saw the pain of his designer & research colleagues at Spotify. They were trying to understand the user experience of the Spotify mobile app, but couldn't find a way to capture it seamlessly (without using lots of external equipment). Plus, manually editing and transferring the movie files between devices and computers was a pain. So nevyn set out to build a smoother, integrated solution for them, and later emerged with the embryo of Lookback.

Nevyn then teamed up with brothers Carl and Jonatan Littke to turn the project into a full-time company and platform. Later, in early 2015, we moved over to Silicon Valley to set up new headquarters, and today more than 3,000 companies, including Facebook, Netflix, and Etsy are using the Lookback platform to better understand their user experiences. Our mission is to help you better understand your customers: in-depth, remotely, and at scale.
